Mastering the Automaton Faction: A Guide to Surviving Helldivers 2

In Helldivers 2, it is crucial to have a deep understanding of your enemies. Knowing their strengths, weaknesses, behavior, and spawn patterns is essential for survival. This article will provide an overview of every enemy you can encounter in Helldivers 2.

• Devastator: Larger Automaton with similar melee moves as the Berserker. Slower in action but requires a support weapon to defeat.
• Hulk: A larger variation of the Devastator with double cannons. Aim for its back to kill it. Use explosives and artillery fire from above.
• Tank: An incredibly tough Automaton with its only weakness being the back. It is best to use Stratagems and teamwork to defeat it.
• Dropship: A ship that brings Automaton reinforcements. Instead of taking it out, focus on eliminating the reinforcements once they hit the ground.
