The LEC is set to welcome two new organizations in the upcoming season: KOI and Team Heretics. Team Heretics has acquired the franchise spot from Misfits Gaming, while KOI has formed a strategic alliance with Rogue, the reigning LEC Summer Champions.

New Additions to LEC: KOI and Team Heretics

KOI and Rogue

KOI and Rogue have joined forces under the KOI brand, with Rogue retaining its management structure and operations from last year. However, top laner Odoamne will be leaving the team and joining Excel Esports, while former Vitality top laner Szygenda will be joining KOI.

Team Heretics

Team Heretics has finalized its roster with the addition of bot laner Jackspektra and mid laner Mersa. Former EG coach Peter Dun will also be joining the team. Korean mid laner Ruby will be playing for HRTS, having previously played for UOL Sexy Edition.

Excel Esports and SK Gaming

Excel Esports has made significant changes to its roster, with top laner Odoamne, mid laner Vetheo, jungler Xerxe, and support Targamas joining the team. SK Gaming has also finalized its roster with the addition of players in every role.

Astralis and Team BDS

Astralis will be keeping ADC Kobbe and former XL player Finn as their top laner. KCorp's jungler 113 is rumored to be joining the team. Team BDS will likely field a completely new team, with players promoted from their academy squad.

MAD Lions and Fnatic

MAD Lions will be building their roster around jungler Elyoya, with the addition of former Fnatic support Hylissang, Korean top laner Chasy, and the return of ADC Carzzy. Fnatic will see the return of Rekkles as their ADC, while the rest of the roster remains unchanged.

G2 Esports and Vitality

G2 Esports has made changes to its roster, with rising talent Yike replacing Jankos as the jungler, and former Team Liquid ADC Hans Sama and re-hired Mikyx joining the team. Vitality has picked up Chinese jungler Bo, as well as bot laner Neon from MSF and support Kaiser from MAD Lions.
