Many Arena of Valor teams have featured in the six iterations of the Arena of Valor International Championship that have taken place so far, with most of them having different players each year.
However, several teams and players have stood out in the competition due to their impressive performances. Here are major Arena of Valor International Championship tournaments in recent years, judging from their impressive performances.
Burrium United E-Sports
Burriam United eSports are the 2021's Arena of Valor International Championship title holder. The team won 40% of the $1 million prize pool, with 20% going to the first runner-up, V Gaming. Hong Kong Attitude was the second runner-up, winning 15% of the prize pool.
Burriam United eSports is a professional eSports organization based in Thai. The active players who won the championship in 2021 included Satittirat Chetnarong, Anurak Saengjan, Pakinai Srivijarn, and Weerapat Rungchaeng.
The team's performance was so impressive that most of its players were given awards. Identified by their player IDs, NuNu won the Finals MVP award and Best Line-Up Mid, Overfly won the Best Line-Up Dark Slayer award, and Difoxn won the Best Line-Up Abyssal Dragon award.
MAD Team
The MAD Team won the fourth iteration of the Arena of Valor International Championship, which took place in 2020. This professional eSports team is based in Taiwan. After its standout performance, the team was awarded 40% of the prize pool money, which stood at $200,000.

Team Flash
Twelve teams took place in the 2019 Arena of Valor International Championship, with Team Flash emerging as the champions. The team won $200,000 from the prize pool of $500,000. The two Team Flash players that stood out the most during that event were XB, who won the Finals MVP award, and ADC, who won the Best Line-Up jungle award.
J Team
The J Team won the Arena of Valor International Championship in 2018, earning $250,000 from the prize pool. The tournament MVP award went to the J Team's player with the username Neil.
Still Moving Under Gunfire
The Still Moving Under Gunfire team was the first-ever team to win the Arena of Valor International Championship. The team won the first iteration of the tournament, which was in 2017, after competing against 11 other international pro teams. The prize money for the winning team was $200,000.
